Finca La Esperanza
Located at 1,800 metres in the Huila region, Finca La Esperanza is run by the Gonzalez family. Third-generation coffee farmers, they grow Caturra and Castillo varieties on just 5 hectares of land.
Why We Love This Coffee
The combination of volcanic soil, high altitude, and meticulous processing produces a coffee with notes of dark chocolate, caramel, and red apple. Its everything a Colombian coffee should be.
Our Partnership
We have been buying directly from the Gonzalez family since 2022. By paying 55% above the C-market price, we ensure they can invest in their farm, pay fair wages, and plan for the future.
Maria visits Huila every January to cup the new harvest and agree on pricing face-to-face. Its a relationship built on trust and mutual respect.
